What is backlink monitoring?
Backlink monitoring rechecks the pages that link to your site on a schedule. Each check reads the page and records whether your link is still there, with its link text, rel value and destination. When a link is removed, switched to nofollow or starts pointing at a broken page, you find out while you can still ask for it back.
