Free backlink checker

Enter a page that should link to you and the page it should point to. We fetch that one page once and tell you whether it links to you, with the anchor text and rel of every match.

What the result means

  • Your link is on the page: the page we fetched links to you. We list each link, its anchor text and its rel value, such as nofollow or sponsored.
  • No link to you on this page: we read the whole page and found no link to you. That describes the page at that moment. It does not prove a link was removed.
  • We could not read this page: we could not reach or read the page, or the page itself is unavailable. The result explains why. Unknown is not a lost link.

Limits

  • 3 free checks per visitor per day (UTC), one at a time.
  • One page per check. This is not a backlink index: it does not find every site that links to you.
  • We read the HTML the page serves. Pages that build their links with JavaScript can show as unknown.
  • Repeating the same check within 15 minutes returns the saved result.
  • A Cloudflare bot check runs before each check.

Run it from an agent or the command line

The same free check is open to agents through the /free/mcp endpoint (tool verify_link_free) and to scripts over HTTP. These routes need no bot check, with the same daily limit:

curl https://app.agentlinkops.com/free/check \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data '{"sourceUrl":"https://publisher.example/post","targetUrl":"https://your-site.example/","scope":"exact"}'

See the verify_link_free reference for every field.

Check every day instead of once

A single check tells you about today. To learn when a link disappears, AgentLinkOps checks your earned links daily by default and marks one lost only after two complete checks, at least 30 minutes apart, find it missing. See backlink monitoring and how to confirm a lost backlink.
